The plant of the production water heaters and electric convectors (a division of an international company), announces a competition for the position of Senior buyer (purchase of metal), Odessa.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

—        Check the capability of these suppliers for Supplying of production in components and raw materials in time according to the purchase plans. Monitoring of the consumption of rejected parts;

—        Managing relationships with suppliers: negotiating prices, terms and conditions with suppliers in local and external markets for certain groups of materials and components;

—        Develops new supply sources, negotiates with vendors for productive materials and raw material and the best possible price and service guarantee;

—        Visits supplier base to investigate potential suppliers and conduct negotiations, certification audits, and quality audits;

—        Communicate with R&D team about specific components needs and support investigation of new supplier base when required and the new possible technologies from them.

Requirements:

—        Minimum 2 years of work experience in purchasing ;

—        Specific knowledge about metal, plastic, carton markets;

—        Experience direct purchases abroad;

—        English: at least Upper Intermediate level;

—        Technologies > Steel – Plastic – Carton;

—        Negotiation and capacity to work in team;

—        Legal procedure;

—        Experience of Audit (Technic and Financial).
