Foreign Trade Production Сompany, successfully working and developing on the territory of Ukraine, looking for Safety Manager, Vinnitsa Region.

Main responsibilities:

— Management of safety procedures, providing technical guidance, safety training and support to contractors and team;

— Ensuring compliance to Safety Standard requirements, safety objectives and KPIs;

— Lead contractor and subcontractor safety pre-qualification process;

— Handle all safety inspections, audits, and follow-up communications with corporate teams;

— Continuous improvement of KPIs and safety behaviour based on policies;

— Investigate and document safety and process incidents as per local legislation and corporate safety standards;

— Provides leadership in the development, training, and maintenance of plant safety procedures;

— Organize safety events for contractors and own employees (including safety recognition program);

— Maintains consistent communication and fosters teamwork between contactors, personnel as well as corporate teams;

— Responsible for developing and monitoring plant safety and environmental programs;

—  Development of documents and procedures related to safety and environmental aspects necessary for the plant start up;

— Procurement of PPEs and uniform as per Ukrainian legislation and standards;

— Liaising with contractors, statutory bodies and external parties during audits and visits.

Qualification requirements:

— Higher education;

— Technical background and minimum 3 years of experience as Safety Manager at a multinational company;

— Leadership experience & ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment;

— Good collaboration, oral and written communication skills;

— Strong technical skills and attention to detail;

— Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

— Fluent in English;

— Technical and managerial experience in Safety positions in food or agrifood industry;

— Professional background within Safety or Construction sectors;

— Working knowledge of Ukraine and EU safety standards;

— Experience in ISO safety and enviromental implementation from 0 (e.g. in a new production plant);

— Auditing Experience;

— Demonstrated ability to motivate and promote changes in others related to Safety.
