Our client is an international seeds production company widely represented in Europe and the CIS, announces a competition for the vacancy of the Commercial Director, Kiev.

Main Functional Responsibilities

—        Formation of company commercial policy in Ukraine;

—        Analyze the market potential (area and margin) for all relevant crops in which company  can provide varieties;

—        Discuss and define a portfolio for each culture with responsible CM and PM International;

—        Development of a sales strategy in Ukraine;

—        Formation of a sales plan and monitoring its implementation;

—        Maintaining  partnerships with existing customers;

—        Increase customer database: participation in negotiations with key customers;

—        Formation and approval of the credit policy of sales;

—        Sales figures to be updated regularly in the planning tools, according to instruction of the CM;

—        Provide all needed instructions/information to the logistic department to secure accurate a supply of seeds to the clients;

—        Control of corporate reporting;

—        Leader of Sales Team and responsible for operational performance of local Sales Representatives and local Product Manager for all crops he is responsible for;

—        Participation on internal meetings when requested by CM or Line Manager;

—        Follow the rules which are set by the responsible Managers in the Head Office for doing the business

Requirements for candidates:

—        University degree (agronomy is priority);

—        Fluent English;

—        Experience in senior management positions in international companies of seeds or plant protection products for more than five years;

—        Knowledge of technologies of cultivation of agricultural crops;

—        Successful experience of people management;

—        Readiness for business trips in Ukraine and abroad;

—        Driver’s license  of category «B», practical driving experience 3-4 years is mandatory;

—        Focus on results, responsibility in decision-making, ability to work in a team;

—        Strong analytical and communication skills
