Our сlient – foreign Trade Production Сompany, successfully working and developing on the territory of Ukraine, is seeking a specialist on the position of Marketing Manager/Director in Kiev.
The main responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate the annual Food Products marketing plan for the defined business area;
- Provide leadership in developing a strategic vision and marketing plan;
- Develop and steer annual marketing budget;
- Introduce all marketing processes in the countries and train people for their use;
- Working with local marketers, identify, develop and implement the product positioning strategy and portfolios to enter, to gain share and to secure market position;
- Acts as an interface between innovation and R&D and the local Food Products teams by recommending modifications of assigned ranges of products/brands;
- Is involved in the process of local marketing support material above and below the line. Contributes to the budget definition and the recruitment process of key staff;
- Develops new approaches to promote the Brands and products including the development of new and difficult markets;
- Looking for the opportunities in new categories and develops plans to penetrate;
- Represents company and interfaces with AD AGENCIES/ MEDIA/ PR’S/ MARKET RESEARCH FIRMS/;
- In coordination with local management, committees and partners responsible for proposing allocation of resources allowing a full completion of the local marketing implementation plans;
- Ensure thorough analysis in the country market on brands, distribution channels, opportunities and risks as well as advertising and promotion;
- Ensure adjustment of positioning due to environmental, political, financial or overall strategic changes;
- Ensure that local country personnel is properly qualified, trained and supervised to perform tasks effectively;
- Ensure the implementation of processes and measurements, recommended tools ( for instance Brand P&L etc…)and makes sure that they are well in place
The main recuirements:
- At least 8 years of Consumer marketing experience in FMCG much preferably in big international company;
- University degree in marketing or business or other related field;
- Category Management experience;
- Managing portfolio in the Ukrainian market; CIS markets in addition as a plus;
- At least 3 years of managerial experience leading a marketing team. The team preferably consist of managing positions;
- Fluent English;
- Strong planning skills, Time and Project and Priority management;
- Knowledge of marketing “tools and market research principles”;
- Knowledge and understanding of Consumer awareness, brands, Product marketing, Portfolio management (preferably having global and local brands), innovation, Positioning, Promotional and advertising investment, pricing elasticity, competitive awareness;
- Financial awareness;
- Sales Awareness;
- Should have innovations development and launches experience; preferably newly developed brand launch experience;
- Should have good experience in support functions: research, media;
- Should have good Trade Marketing understanding;
- Have P&L responsibility on the different lines;
- Flexibility;
- Entrepreneurship;
- Like to work independently (to identify objectives and deliver plans against);
- Rather business than only marketing oriented;
