Our сlient is a foreign Trade Production Сorporation successfully working and developing on the territory of Ukraine, is seeking a specialist to fill a position of Tax Accountant in Kiev.
The main responsibilities:
- Profit Tax declaration compilation;
- VAT Tax declaration compilation;
- Develop, implement & comply with a local accounting fiscal & tax policy;
- Follow-up, answer to all requests from tax inspections on on- and off-site checks;
- Lead & coordinate work of accounting department in case of tax checks, protects company position during disputes with tax authorities;
- Coordinate work with external advisors on tax court issues & legal advisers relating to taxation issues;
- Trace legislation development and implement required tax/accounting treatment changes when necessary;
- Accounts Payable section control on: correctness of supporting accounting documents, profit tax & VAT accounting, treatment;
- Check of all other tax-related operations: salaries & social funds, royalties, penalties, petrol, advertising etc.;
- Check of A&P contracts for tax-compliance;
- Control over local tax audit, control over changes implementation based on auditor's recommendations;
- Participate in business associations feedback on developments of tax law;
- Provide business with tax advices
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as chief accountant or deputy chief accountant of at least 1-2 years;
- Attention to details, should be able to check his own and others job, neat & precise;
- Initiative, should be able to drive changes necessary by law in the accounting system & reports or to signal to finance manager seeking support on changes;
- Good logical thinking, be able to dig into complex algorithms of SAP accounting system;
- Build working relationships with internal clients & tax inspection;
- Desire to constantly learn & develop (due to constantly changing legislation)
Advantageous requirements:
- Knowlege of SAP;
- Knowledge of business terminology in English
